New Heating Season Regulations in Ukraine

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has revised the timing for the heating season, which will now last from November 1 to March 31. This decision has been published on the official government website.
According to the amendments to the CMU decree dated July 19, 2022, No. 812 «On the Approval of the Regulation on Imposing Special Obligations on Entities of the Natural Gas Market», the heating season in Ukraine for the 2025-2026 period will officially run from November 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
Previously, the heating season in Ukraine started on October 15 and lasted until April 15. Local self-government bodies could make decisions to postpone or end it earlier based on weather conditions, but the state ensured stable gas supplies during this period.
