New Attack on Odesa: Enemy Drones Strike the City
Odesa is under attack again: the enemy has struck the city with drones. This was reported by the emergency services.
Last night the peaceful city shook from explosions. Russia launched a massive drone attack, targeting residential areas and civilian infrastructure, damaging the energy sector.
A nine-story residential building was damaged, with the facade and roof destroyed on the top floor. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames on the upper floors.
Fires broke out in market pavilions and a supermarket.
Windows in surrounding buildings were shattered, and local residents' vehicles were damaged.
Unfortunately, preliminary reports indicate that one person was injured.
Our firefighters operated under extremely challenging conditions — extinguishing was interrupted by repeated air raid alerts. Psychologists from the emergency services provided support to 23 residents caught in the epicenter of the events.
To address the aftermath, 58 rescuers and 16 units of equipment were deployed by the emergency services.
