Modern Pediatric Clinic Opens in Odesa: New Opportunities for Young Patients
A modern emergency, urgent, and trauma care department has been inaugurated at the Pediatric City Clinical Hospital No. 3 in Odesa, marking a significant advancement in providing medical assistance within the Peresyp district.
The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art medical devices, creating comfortable conditions for both young patients and medical staff. Each bed is fitted with oxygen outlets, and the renovation process prioritized accessibility and inclusivity.
Since late 2023, surgical procedures have begun, with approximately 150 surgeries completed, including more than 100 ENT operations.
In 2024, the emergency, surgical, and endoscopic departments are fully operational, having conducted around 1000 surgical interventions, over 800 trauma procedures, and approximately 70 endoscopic treatments.
To date, 2735 young patients have been admitted to the upgraded departments: 1375 to the surgical unit and 1360 to the trauma unit. The absence of complications following surgeries indicates the high quality of medical services provided.
The hospital also features a modern reception and diagnostic department with isolated Melzer boxes, ensuring a high level of infection control and preventing the spread of nosocomial infections.
Little residents of Odesa now have access to a contemporary clinic where qualified medical professionals deliver high-quality care under the state medical guarantee program.
