Ukraine's Air Defense Report for July 28

On the night of July 28, Ukrainian air defense successfully destroyed 309 out of 324 launched Russian drones and two X-101 missiles.

This information was shared by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on social media.

The attack occurred on the night of July 28, with the enemy launching a total of 331 air attack means, including 324 UAVs, 4 cruise missiles, and 3 ballistic missiles.

The Russian forces deployed 324 Shahed-type drones and other UAVs from directions including Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

Four X-101 cruise missiles were launched from the airspace of the Saratov region, and three X-47 M2 "Kinzhal" ballistic missiles were launched from the Lipetsk region.

The main target of the attack was located in Staro Konstantinov, Khmelnytskyi region.

Defense forces, including aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, and electronic warfare units, actively countered the attack.

As of 09:30, 311 enemy air attack means were reported destroyed or suppressed: 309 UAVs and two X-101 cruise missiles.

Hits from two different types of missiles and 15 UAVs were recorded in three locations, along with debris from downed objects.

The Air Force emphasized that the X-47 M2 ballistic missiles did not reach their targets!
