Attacks on Izmail: New Threats to Civilians

The enemy continues to commit acts of terrorism against the peaceful population of our country. The Russian army once again launched strikes using Shahed-type kamikaze drones in the Izmail district of the Odessa region. The Vilkivka territorial community came under fire.

The consequences of the nighttime attack were reported by the Izmail district state administration.

On the night of July 2, 2025, amid the invasion and ongoing war of Russia against Ukraine, the Vilkivka community was once again targeted by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) — Shahed-type kamikaze drones.

Despite the active efforts of air defense forces, which shot down some enemy drones, the attack resulted in damage to port and tourist infrastructure.

Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The enemy continues to carry out terrorist acts against our peaceful population.
