New Attack on Odesa: Impact on Residents
Odesa has once again been targeted in an attack, resulting in casualties.
This information was reported by the State Emergency Service.
A nine-story building was struck, with flames engulfing apartments on the 7th, 8th, and 9th floors. Fifty residents were evacuated from the building. Using specialized equipment, 10 individuals were rescued from the upper floors, including 2 children.
Preliminary reports indicate that 4 people have been injured.
A Resilience Point has been established near the building, with psychologists on-site to assist.
Rescuers are monitoring the movement of the damaged structural elements of the residential building with a seismographic device to prevent dangerous debris from falling on personnel.
Efforts to eliminate the aftermath are ongoing.
