Odesa family killed in Israeli home after Iranian missile strike
A family from Ukraine, who came to Israel for the treatment of seven-year-old Anastasia Burik suffering from leukemia, tragically lost their lives when an Iranian missile hit their residential building.
The incident occurred on Saturday, June 14.
The Iranian attack claimed the lives of seven-year-old Anastasia from Odessa, her mother, and two other children in Bat Yam. A total of four individuals were killed, and one person remains missing. Anastasia was undergoing treatment for cancer and was waiting for a bone marrow transplant, - said Andriy Yermak.

The family from Odessa arrived in Israel in December 2022 after a global fundraising effort for Anastasia's treatment.
After a partial remission, cancer returned despite chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.
It is known that during their treatment, they were staying in a house that was struck by the missile.
Anastasia's father, Artem Burik, serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and remained in Ukraine to continue fundraising for his daughter's treatment.
At the time of the strike, Anastasia was with her grandmother, mother, and two boys.
