Repatriation of Fallen Soldiers: A New Phase in Ukraine

 A significant step in the repatriation of fallen soldiers has been completed in Ukraine, with 1200 bodies returned, claimed by the Russian side to belong to Ukrainian citizens, including military personnel.

In the coming days, investigative authorities along with experts from the Ministry of Internal Affairs will conduct necessary examinations and identifications of the repatriated bodies.

This repatriation effort was made possible through the collaboration of the Coordination Headquarters, SBU Joint Center, Armed Forces of Ukraine, and other security structures.

We express our gratitude to the International Committee of the Red Cross for their support in this process.

Special thanks to the personnel of the Central Command of the Armed Forces and the Joint Center for organizing the transportation of the deceased to specialized state institutions.
