Recent Prisoner Exchange: Troops Return to Ukraine

On June 14, 2023, a significant prisoner exchange took place, leading to the return of military personnel and officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs to Ukraine.

In Zelensky's words: "We are continuing to bring our people back from Russian captivity. This is already the fourth exchange within a week.

Among those who returned are many fighters who had been held since 2022. This includes soldiers from the Armed Forces, National Guard, State Border Guard Service, and specialized transport units."

Details: The Coordination Headquarters released information regarding the exchange.

The exchanged individuals include those in serious health conditions, severely injured, and young individuals under the age of 25. Most of the released are officers.

Back on their native land are servicemen from the Armed Forces, including Airborne Troops, Naval Forces, Territorial Defense Forces, as well as members of the State Border Guard Service, National Guard of Ukraine, and special services who fought in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk, Kherson, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kursk regions.
