New Developments in the Repatriation of Ukrainian Soldiers' Remains

On June 14, a new phase of repatriation measures took place as part of the agreements in Istanbul. Ukraine received an additional 1,200 bodies, which are likely to belong to Ukrainian citizens, including military personnel.

The Coordination Headquarters emphasizes that the identification of these bodies as Ukrainian citizens is based solely on Russian statements.
In the near future, law enforcement agencies along with experts from the Ministry of Internal Affairs will conduct examinations and identification of the remains.
