Empowering Students Against Violence: A Safety Game
The members of the high school parliament in Odesa, with the support of inspectors from the Patrol Police of Odesa region, conducted an engaging educational game called "Empowerment for Safety".
This game aids students in understanding the concepts of violence, bullying, and the methods to prevent and overcome these issues.
The game methodology, supported by UNICEF Ukraine, covers five key areas: "Understanding Violence", "Bullying in Children", "Online Violence", "Domestic Violence", and "Stranger Danger".
During the game, participants shared their views on the significance of preventing violence and discussed its causes and consequences.
Student government leaders also learned about legal responsibilities and how to seek help in risky situations.
The police urged children to never hide incidents of violence and to report any such occurrences.
This event aims to raise awareness among children about lawful behavior and responsibility for offenses, as well as to prevent bullying and cruelty in teenage environments.
