This year, Ukraine has set a new benchmark in the Times Higher Education global rankings, with 22 universities making the list. Odesa National University named after Ilya Mechnikov has entered the 1501+ group, while Odesa Polytechnic University received the status of a "ranking participant".
Sumy State University achieved the best result among Ukrainian universities, entering the 801–1000 group. Other universities, including those from Odesa, are ranked lower, yet their presence in the ranking indicates a gradual improvement and elevation of the quality of Ukrainian education.
