Collaboration for Veteran Support
The municipal entity «Veteran Hub» in Odesa and the Veterans Support Center in Mykolaiv have signed a cooperation agreement.
Veterans from Mykolaiv can now seek services in Odesa, while Odesa residents can receive support in Mykolaiv. This combined effort will enhance adaptation, expand the range of veteran services, and share successful practices.
«We have a wonderful example of collaboration and a willingness to learn from each other,» noted the head of the «Veteran Hub», Volodymyr Yermakov.
In turn, the First Deputy Mayor of Mykolaiv, Vitaliy Lukov, emphasized: «This is not just a formalization of friendly relations, but specific steps to improve the quality of veteran services.»
It should be noted that this important document was agreed upon at the beginning of the month when a Mykolaiv delegation visited Odesa.
The «Veteran Hub» operates in the following areas:
- legal support;
- psychological assistance;
- employment assistance and grant management;
- rehabilitation and medical aid;
- information on existing programs, services, and benefits;
- organization of leisure, sports, and cultural events;
- conducting training, round tables, and conferences.
