Tragedy in Odessa: Fire Claims Life

On the evening of Saturday, April 12, 2025, a tragic fire broke out in the Peresyp district of Odessa, leading to the loss of an elderly woman's life.
The regional emergency service reported that flames erupted from the doors and hardwood flooring in an apartment located on Prince Volodymyr the Great Avenue.
The body of the 1940-born apartment owner was found at the scene.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damages are currently being investigated.
According to emergency services, there were a total of 19 fires reported in Odessa region over the past day, with five occurring in Odessa and 14 elsewhere in the region.
