Launch of Charity Initiative in Odessa
Odessa has launched the «Good Deeds Week 2025». This annual charitable initiative brings together local government, businesses, and the community to perform good deeds for the benefit of society.
Traditionally, the project lasts for one week. This year, 15 weeks of good deeds are scheduled from April 4 to July 18.
«We gather here today not just to kick off the «Good Deeds Week» — we open our hearts, share our energy, and invest our dreams for a brighter future. It is particularly gratifying that our good deeds transcend Odessa and unite Ukraine!»
Odessa's Mayor Gennady Trukhanov stated: «Thanks to your efforts and volunteers from various cities, goodness becomes a universal language, understood by all regardless of their background, age, or profession.»
In 2025, the project has expanded and is being implemented in other cities across Ukraine.
The project's initiator, Deputy Mayor Pavel Vugelman, addressed the participants:
«I truly believe in the boomerang of goodness in the world. I believe that kindness always returns! For doing good, you don’t always need resources or money, just the desire to help is enough!»
