Autumn Greenery Maintenance in Odessa

The specialists of the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest» work daily to maintain cleanliness and order in the city's parks and squares while also enhancing the greenery of Odessa.

This season, autumn tasks are underway: trimming bushes and conifers, watering and weeding flower beds and young trees, preparing planting holes, mowing lawns, removing dead branches, loosening soil, collecting flower heads, felling and pruning trees, among other activities.

Furthermore, in all parks and squares, employees regularly clean the areas: sweeping paths, emptying trash bins, and clearing green spaces of litter.

Fallen leaves are only cleared from the lawns near paths to maintain a neat appearance. In other areas of green spaces, fallen leaves are left to create conditions for soil microflora and fauna development.

About 170 workers participate in the activities daily. A total of 29 units of specialized equipment are employed (washing trucks, passenger-cargo vehicles JAC, and others).
