New Greening Initiative in Odesa for 2026

As the new year 2026 begins, the specialists of the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest» have started planting young trees across the city.

Since the start of the year, 129 trees have already been planted in Odesa. On Novoselskogo Street, there are 69 maples, 3 acacias, and 1 catalpa. At the Memorial of the 411th Battery, 10 maples and 14 ashes have been planted. On Chemical Street, 8 maples were added, and 24 maples are being planted in the green area near the Bus Station.

Last year, the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest» planted 2376 young trees (ashes, elms, sophoras, maples, lindens, and others). All trees are large-caliber and are planted with a closed root system (with a soil ball) to ensure better survival in the urban environment.
