Traffic Incident in Odesa Region: Truck Blocks Road

The event occurred yesterday, January 8, in the evening, within the Kodima community of the Odesa region.
A truck skidded on the road connecting Kodima – Balta, near the village of Ivashkiv, resulting in a blockage for four cars. Only men were inside the stranded vehicles.
Police, together with rescuers and municipal services, cleared the road and assisted the drivers in continuing their journey.
The weather remains unfavorable, with snow and ice reported in some areas of the Odesa region, complicating traffic movement. Therefore, if there is no urgent need to travel, it is better to stay home and wait for the weather to improve.
We urge drivers to be extremely cautious. Check the condition of tires, brakes, lights, wipers, and heating and cooling systems. Do not drive under the influence of alcohol, always use seat belts, reduce speed, maintain a safe distance, avoid sudden maneuvers and braking, and pay close attention to the road situation.
