Public Transport Stops Maintenance in Odesa

28 November 2024

The Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» oversees 1012 public transport stops across the city.

Specialists from the enterprise regularly engage in sanitary cleaning of the surrounding areas, as well as repairing bins, benches, and shelters, including their washing and painting.

Since the beginning of the year, almost 163 square meters of glass walls have been replaced at the stops. The roofs of 17 stops have been repaired, and benches at 37 stops have been restored. Additionally, 91 trash bins have been repaired, and 99 stops and 512 bins have received fresh paint.

Unfortunately, vandalism remains a pressing issue. Daily, unknown individuals leave graffiti, break benches, and smash bins, as well as shatter glass walls of the stops due to accidents.

The Odesa City Council once again urges residents and visitors to treat municipal property with care. Deliberate damage to city property carries criminal responsibility.
