Autumn Greening: New Trees and Shrubs in Odesa

In Odesa, the specialists from the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest» have commenced the autumn planting activities. This season, they plan to plant more than 1050 young trees. Specifically, 330 seedlings of various species, including white acacia, sycamore, common ash, Japanese sophora, and western plane, will be planted on streets where stumps have been removed.

This week, the workers have already planted 9 sophora trees on Ukrainian Heroes Avenue, and another 3 sophoras have adorned the City Garden.

Additionally, in Istanbul Park, the greening team has planted 70 cotoneaster bushes. Overall, it is planned to plant over 1800 bushes across different areas of the city this autumn, including buxus, spirea, mahonia, and forsythia.
