Meeting on Accessibility in Odesa
A significant meeting took place in Odesa between the local government and representatives from the «Partnership for Strong Ukraine» (PFRU) program, focusing on accessibility issues in the city.
During the dialogue, participants discussed several important projects already underway in Odesa:
- the creation of the «North - South» accessible route as part of the national accessibility strategy;
- development of rehabilitation services;
- comprehensive support for military personnel and their families;
- conducting accessibility lessons in educational institutions;
- creating an urban space that is convenient for everyone.
«I thank the project director of «Resilient Population», Oleksii Mykhailychenko, and his team for their support and willingness to help Odesa and its residents,» said Odesa's Deputy Mayor Pavlo Vugelman.

PFRU is a multilateral donor initiative funded by the British Embassy in Kyiv, the Estonian Embassy, the Canadian Embassy, the Royal Norwegian Embassy, the Embassy of Finland, the Swiss Embassy, and the Swedish Embassy.
The goal of the «Resilient Population» project is to strengthen the resilience of Ukrainian society by creating an inclusive and supportive environment for the socio-economic integration of vulnerable groups, including veterans, persons with disabilities, internally displaced persons, the elderly, and youth.
