Tragic Fire Claims Life in Oksamitove

On the night of September 5, a deadly fire broke out in the village of Oksamitove in the Bolhrad district of Odesa region.
According to the press service of the State Emergency Service of Odesa region, the roof of a single-story private house on Serhiy Manulov Street caught fire.
The flames spread over approximately 50 square meters. Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze, but a deceased woman's body was found at the scene. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
Firefighting efforts involved units of the State Emergency Service — 1 piece of equipment and 4 firefighters, as well as the local fire brigade from the village of Krynichne — 1 piece of equipment and 2 personnel.
