Creating an Accessible Environment in Odesa

The Deputy Mayor of Odesa, Serhiy Kotsyuba, held a meeting with experts from the Accessibility Council. 

The primary goal is to ensure comfortable and safe mobility throughout the city for individuals with disabilities, veterans, and all persons with limited mobility. 

Currently, route analyses are underway: the state of pedestrian infrastructure, tourist attractions, service areas, and navigation systems are being examined. 

«We aim for every guest and resident of Odesa to experience the city not only as beautiful but also truly accessible», emphasized Olexiy Morozov, advisor to the Odesa Mayor on accessibility issues. 

The work on the project will take place in several phases and will include consultations with the public, experts, and representatives of mobility-impaired groups.
