Inauguration of the New President of Poland

The inauguration ceremony for Poland's new president, Karol Nawrocki, officially took place in the Polish Parliament, where he assumed office.

Details: Supporters of Nawrocki gathered in front of the Parliament building early in the morning, chanting slogans in his favor.

Shortly after 10 AM Polish time, Karol Nawrocki took the oath of office, officially commencing his term and replacing Andrzej Duda.

Duda, who is stepping down after two terms, made his final address on Tuesday evening, promising to continue his "active engagement" both domestically and internationally.
