Fire Breaks Out in Apartment Building in Odesa
In Odesa, a fire erupted in an apartment building due to a malfunctioning boiler. The flames covered an area of 50 square meters. A woman was injured as a result of the incident.
According to the emergency services press office, last night, June 7, a fire occurred in the Primorsky district. On Pavlo Zelensyy Street, household belongings in a third-floor apartment of a five-story building were ablaze.
"The fire was extinguished over an area of 50 square meters. As a result of the fire, a citizen born in 1961 was injured and taken to the hospital in moderate condition. The likely cause of the fire is a malfunction in the boiler’s electrical wiring.
Damage is being assessed. A total of 6 units of equipment and 26 rescuers were involved from the emergency services," the statement said.
