Donor Solidarity Amidst War

The team at the Primary Healthcare Center No. 16 in Odesa continues to showcase unity and proactivity in charitable initiatives during wartime.

On December 17, staff members, with the support of the Odesa City Health Department, held their thirteenth blood donation event as part of the «Donor Odesa» project.

Under the leadership of the center's director, Anna Pavlega, a group of dedicated donors has formed, always eager to assist our defenders and those in need of blood transfusions.

Seventeen employees participated in the blood donation drive. A single blood donation can save up to three lives.

The demand for donor blood has remained exceedingly high since the onset of the war. During this time, over 14,000 donations have been made through the «Donor Odesa» project, saving thousands of lives of both defenders and civilians.

The city’s Department of Information and Digital Solutions is actively promoting blood donation through information campaigns, utilizing the Telegram channel «Odesa.Official», the mobile app MISTO, and other local media resources.
