New Advances in Cardiology in Odesa

Last week, Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine Edem Adamov visited the city clinical hospital No. 11 in Odesa on a working trip.

The hospital recently launched a new modern cardiology and cardiac surgery department equipped with the latest technology. This is a significant step forward in developing cardiology services in the city and improving the accessibility of medical care for patients.

Plans are underway to enhance diagnostic capabilities, as hospital No. 11 is a key facility providing assistance for polytrauma cases.

During the visit, the assessment of space for installing an MRI machine was conducted - a critical piece of equipment that will allow:

• quickly and accurately determine the extent of injuries in trauma patients;
• improve the quality of injury diagnostics;
• ensure continuity of care without referring patients to other hospitals;
• expand opportunities for urgent and planned neurodiagnostics.

«The installation of the MRI will be an important strategic step that will enhance the role of hospital No. 11 as a powerful clinical center for providing highly specialized assistance to Odesans and visitors to the city,» noted Elena Kolodenko, the director of the Health Department of the Odesa City Council.
