Innovative Digital Solutions in Odesa's Healthcare

06 January 2026

In a bid to integrate cutting-edge technologies in healthcare, the Odesa City Council's Department of Health has signed a collaboration agreement with the leading medical information system in Ukraine, Helsi.

This agreement aims to enhance medical services for both patients and doctors by introducing modern digital solutions to improve interactions between the city's healthcare institutions and their patients. This will enable rapid access to comprehensive analytical reports in a standardized format, reducing the amount of manual reporting and establishing a foundation for swift and informed decision-making in healthcare management.

Another significant area of cooperation is the development of an accessible and user-friendly digital service for veteran medical support. The partnership with Helsi will facilitate a clear pathway for veterans to receive medical assistance: online appointments, a logical sequence of steps, and organized support within connected healthcare facilities. This means less bureaucracy and more clarity and support.

Additionally, the memorandum plans to enhance public awareness among Odesa residents about the National Program “Screening 40+” and to create accessible conditions for its utilization through push notifications and online appointments with user-friendly medical facilities.

“Barrier-free access and digitalization are key elements of the modern healthcare system in Odesa. This partnership is about practical changes: shorter queues, increased accessibility, transparent processes, and modern services for the people,” emphasized Olena Kolodenko, director of the Odesa City Council's Department of Health.
