Innovations in Medicine: New Frontiers
On November 6, 2025, a scientific and practical conference was held at the consulting and diagnostic center of the city clinical hospital №10, focusing on the introduction of innovative technologies and artificial intelligence in medical practice.
The conference was attended by general practitioners, family medicine doctors, therapists, cardiologists, and other specialized professionals.
Organized with the support of the Odesa Regional Family Medicine Association, the conference marked a significant step in the continuous professional development program for medical professionals in Odesa.
The general director of the clinical hospital №10, chief non-staff cardiologist of the Health Department of the Odesa City Council, Denis Sebov, provided information about the National Health Screening Program, which will commence in Ukraine on January 1, 2026.
Experts discussed the scope of screenings and the requirements for medical institutions participating in the project, emphasizing the importance of adherence to accessibility standards.
Participants were also introduced to the latest technologies being implemented at hospital №10, including the capabilities of fundus cameras for tomographic and biomicroscopic visualization of the fundus, as well as an artificial intelligence program for the primary screening of diabetic retinopathy.
Additionally, the potential use of modern technologies in primary healthcare was discussed.
