Ukrainian Surgeons at International Orthopedic Congress

Orthopedic surgeons from Odesa are part of the Ukrainian delegation attending the German Congress of Orthopedics and Traumatology DKOU - 2025, taking place in Berlin from October 28 to 31, 2025.

The Ukrainian specialists showcased the achievements of their medical school on an international platform and discussed ways to enhance collaboration with colleagues worldwide.

During the congress, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the All-Ukrainian Association of Trauma Surgery and the German Society of Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery. This document solidifies the strategic partnership between two robust professional communities and opens new avenues for experience exchange, joint research, and participation in international training programs and forums.

It expands our access to modern European science and clinical practice, enabling us to integrate the advancements of global trauma and orthopedic medicine into our patient care», — noted Sergey Varzary, the chief orthopedic trauma expert at the Ministry of Health.
