Renovation of a Medical Center in Odesa
The first floor of the Primary Healthcare Center No. 4 in Odesa's Kyiv district has been renovated, including the lobby and reception area, providing patients with comfortable service conditions.
Additionally, the Consulting and Diagnostic Center No. 20 on Levitan Street offers a wide range of primary and specialized outpatient services to residents of the Kyiv district and all Odesa citizens.
Odesa's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, visited the medical institution to ensure compliance with modern accessibility standards. The reception area has been adapted for wheelchair users, featuring Braille signage and inclusive restrooms.
The entrance to the medical facility was previously updated to ensure barrier-free access, including the installation of a convenient ramp that meets building code requirements and recommendations from organizations caring for people with disabilities.
This year, the Primary Healthcare Center No. 4 has opened and equipped a modern outpatient rehabilitation department, staffed by a multidisciplinary team of specialists.
Since its opening, the department has provided outpatient rehabilitation services to 120 patients at no cost, as part of the state medical guarantee program.
Mayor Trukhanov spoke with Ukrainian defenders currently receiving treatment at the center, who praised the high level of rehabilitation services and the professionalism of the medical staff.
At Primary Healthcare Center No. 4, a Mental Health Center and Integrated Support Center also operate, providing comprehensive psychosocial and psychological assistance, legal advice, and social worker services.
“Today, we are creating modern conditions in the city's medical facilities where patients feel comfortable and healthcare workers can thrive. It is especially important that all renovation work prioritizes accessibility. Ensuring the availability of city infrastructure for every citizen is our key strategy,” said Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
