Odessa Under Attack: Aftermath of Shelling

The enemy struck residential buildings in a densely populated area of Odessa. Many apartments and three schools were damaged, with over 90 windows shattered. At least three individuals were injured.

The head of the city’s Department of Education and Science, Olena Buinevych, warns of the dangers for children following the nighttime shelling:

«Please, talk to your children once more: do not touch anything suspicious or unfamiliar on the ground, no items. Adults share these things on social media, but it can be hard for kids to understand why it’s dangerous».

Currently, all relevant services are working to address the consequences of the Russian attacks.

An operational headquarters of the district administration will be set up in the morning, providing guidance on how to apply for material assistance for window and door repairs, as well as obtaining compensation from the state budget through the eRecovery program.

«In addition, our reliable partners – community and charitable organizations – will assist residents by providing kits for temporarily sealing window openings,» the city hall announced.
