Meeting with Heroes: Support for the Odessa Brigade

The Mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov, met with the commander of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign, Vladimir Luzhetsky, and his comrades.

This brigade has received over 138 million hryvnias in support from Odessa. Currently, the soldiers are defending Ukraine in a challenging area of Donetsk. The city has received a request for further assistance, which will be processed promptly.

This year, the Odessa budget allocated 206 million 093 thousand hryvnias for the support of the Defense Forces, including 10 million for the 28th brigade. Last year, Odessa transferred nearly 1.42 billion UAH to support the military.

The city continues to work and assist Ukrainian defenders.
