Assault on Izmail: Impact on Local Infrastructure

In the night of September 2, Russian forces launched an attack on the port infrastructure in the Izmail district of the Odesa region.
This was reported by the press service of the district administration.
«Thanks to prompt action, significant destruction and casualties were avoided. The fires were quickly extinguished», – the report states.

It later became known that a 22-year-old man was injured as a result of a drone attack on Izmail. He was taken to the hospital. This was reported by the Odesa regional prosecutor's office. Additionally, damage was caused to the port infrastructure and property of several businesses. Prosecutors are working on-site in collaboration with police.
A pre-trial investigation has been initiated by the Izmail district prosecutor's office regarding the committed war crimes (part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
