Ukrainian Intelligence Strikes in Crimea

Two Mi-8 helicopters and an enemy tugboat — GUR operatives continue to strike military targets of the invaders in Crimea.

Another confirmed result of the systematic combat operations by the GUR MO Ukraine special unit “Phantoms” in the temporarily occupied Crimea: using drones, they hit the airbase of the Russian aggressors in Hvardiyske, near Simferopol, successfully destroying two enemy Mi-8 helicopters. The estimated cost of the disabled helicopters is between 20 and 30 million dollars. A similar fate befell the Russian military tug, likely BUС-2190, in the bay of Sevastopol — during an air attack, Ukrainian intelligence operatives targeted the vessel with an appropriate warhead. The raid tug is part of the so-called “PDS” (underwater sabotage forces and means). This unit consists of highly trained divers-reconnaissance specialists, for whose training significant financial and time resources are spent, and they are equipped with the best gear. The destruction of the tug significantly limits the combat capabilities of the elite Russian unit.
