Night Assaults in Odesa: Consequences and Rescue Operations
Odesa endured another night of assaults: the enemy launched a massive attack using strike drones.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
The most affected was a nine-story apartment building, with apartments from the fifth to the eighth floor destroyed and fires reported on the fifth and sixth floors of one of the entrances.
Five people were rescued from blocked apartments, and 33 residents were evacuated.
Psychologists from the State Emergency Service and the National Police provided assistance to the affected residents.
Search dogs were deployed at the scene to locate potential victims.
Debris removal is complicated by the risk of structural collapse, as indicated by a special seismic device monitoring the movement of the destroyed elements of the residential building.
Near the building, the State Emergency Service has set up a Resilience Point to support local residents.
Rescue operations are ongoing.
Additionally, rescuers have dealt with the aftermath of the attack at other locations where fires broke out in private homes and at gas stations.
According to preliminary information, three individuals were injured.
A total of 26 units of equipment and 112 rescuers from the State Emergency Service were involved.
