13 July 2025

In the past week, Ukraine has been subjected to massive attacks from Russian forces, utilizing over 1800 drones, 1200 aerial bombs, and 83 missiles of various types.

This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky on Facebook, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

"A week of intense Russian strikes on Ukraine: more than 1800 drones, over 1200 guided bombs, and 83 missiles. This is yet another phase of terror against Ukrainian cities and the population, aimed at instilling fear among the people," emphasized Zelensky.

He also noted that despite Moscow's intentions, Ukraine's air defense system is showing effective results.

"Interceptor drones have proven their efficiency – hundreds of Russian drones have been shot down in just this week," the president added.

Zelensky highlighted that all meetings with international partners this week focused on expanding the capabilities of this technology.

He expressed gratitude to everyone ready to invest in the protection of life, as well as to the military who safeguard Ukrainian skies.

"Shaheds" are yet another method utilized by Russia to prolong the war. We must neutralize this threat for quicker diplomatic progress," he stated.

The president also expressed hope for the fulfillment of all agreements that will strengthen Ukraine's defense, as well as for strong actions from the USA, Europe, and other allies.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of July 12, Russian forces attacked cities across Ukraine, launching 26 cruise missiles and 597 drones.
