Farewell to a Family from Odesa in Bat Yam: A Tragic Loss
30 June 2025
On June 30, a farewell ceremony was held in Bat Yam, Israel, for a family from Odesa that tragically lost their lives due to an Iranian missile strike on June 14.
This heartbreaking event was reported by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs via social media.
The ceremony took place at the site of the missile attack.
It’s worth noting that a seven-year-old girl named Nastya, who had come to Israel for cancer treatment, was killed, along with her relatives: her mother Maria, grandmother Elena, and cousins Konstantin and Ilya.
Hanna Peshkuryova, the mother of the deceased boys, shared that their bodies will be cremated in Israel and returned to Ukraine.
