Night Attack on Odesa: Civil Infrastructure Under Fire

25 June 2025

On the night of June 25, an attack occurred in the Odesa region where hostile drones targeted civilian structures unrelated to military activities. As a result of the attack, warehouses of a private enterprise and agricultural equipment were damaged.

"The Izmail District Prosecutor's Office has initiated an investigation regarding this incident, classifying it as a war crime," the prosecutor's office reported.

Investigators are on-site documenting the damage and collecting evidence. This is not the first instance of Russian forces attacking civilian infrastructure in the border areas of Odesa, attempting to instill fear and undermine the local economy.

"Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are taking all necessary measures to document the war crimes committed by Russian military personnel," they added.

It should be noted that at the time of the strike, an air alert was declared in the Odesa region. The head of the regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, warned about the danger to the Izmail district.

"Please stay in shelters!", he wrote on Telegram.
