Rescue Operations Continue in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi
Dog handlers have completed their search of the debris at the destroyed school for any potential victims. The cleanup operation has been going on for nearly 24 hours without interruption.
This information comes from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Rescuers from the 3rd Special Center of the SES are tirelessly working to clear the debris following the Russian strike on an educational institution in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
Handlers, along with specially trained dogs, meticulously examined the rubble for any possible survivors trapped beneath the collapsed building. No new reports of casualties or victims from the Russian shelling have been received as of now.
"Despite fatigue, dust, and smoke, the rescuers are persisting to clear the premises as swiftly as possible and to complete their tasks," the SES stated.
It is worth reminding that as a result of the Russian missile strike on June 23, three people were killed in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, and 14 others were injured, including two children. The attack completely destroyed the lyceum and damaged other infrastructure in the city.
