Impact of Night Attack on Odesa Hospital
17 June 2025
As a result of a nighttime attack, one of Odesa's oldest healthcare facilities - the city infectious disease hospital - was damaged.
This was reported by Odesa's mayor, Gennady Trukhanov.
More than 100 windows and doors were damaged across four buildings. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The hospital grounds contain a national heritage site where the renowned Professor Pirogov once worked.
All city services are already engaged in addressing the aftermath. The new hospital buildings continue to operate normally.
