Ukrainian Paddlers Shine at the 2025 National Cup

The National Cup of Ukraine in kayaking and canoeing took place from April 23 to 27, 2025, in Uman, with approximately 400 athletes from 20 regions participating.
Representing Odesa was Albina Yakobchuk, a student of the Odesa Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery «Olympiets», who had previously trained at the Children’s and Youth Sports School No. 6 in Odesa.
Albina achieved the following awards:
C-4 500 m event – 1st place,
C-1 1000 m event – 2nd place.
Her coaches were Ilya Fedorenko, Oleg Zhylkin, and Mykola Kravchuk.
Overall, 115 athletes are engaged in the paddling department at Children’s and Youth Sports School No. 6.
