Ukrainian Junior Synchronised Swimming Championship

From November 15 to 18, Kyiv hosted the Ukrainian Junior Synchronised Swimming Championship, with 65 athletes participating from various regions of Ukraine.

Odessa was represented by athletes from the specialized sports schools, including the «Chornomorets» Sports School.

In the junior technical solo event, Vladyslava Kocherba claimed first place. In the duet category, the team of Sofia Sarukhanyan and Taisia Pochepynska finished in third place.

The group events also saw success, with a team including Vladyslava Kocherba, Sofia Sarukhanyan, and Yelyzaveta Siedova winning silver medals in both technical and free programs.

In the youth category, Sofia Sarukhanyan emerged as the champion in the technical solo, while she and Yelyzaveta Siedova also took first in the duet competition.

The gold medals in the combined groups were won by a team featuring Yelyzaveta Siedova and others.

The athletes were coached by Olga Nikolaychuk and Svitlana Pershina.
