Enhancements to Cycling Paths in Odesa

The municipal institution «Specialized Installation and Operation Unit» has summarized the work carried out this season along the city’s coastline.

With the establishment of a two-way cycling path from the 11th to the 16th station of the Great Fountain, cyclists can now reach the 16th station from the city center.

«The cycling path allows for safe travel around the city. We see its popularity increasing, so, on the mayor’s directive, we will continue to develop cycling routes throughout the city,» said Odesa’s Deputy Mayor Pavlo Vugelman.

The president of the cycling club «Arcadia» also noted the positive changes.

«This cycling path has become the best in the city. Since its opening, I have noticed a significant increase in the number of cyclists. People are actively responding to the new markings. It’s gratifying to see the growth of cycling sports in Odesa,» said Viktoria Bondarenko.

The city plans to further enhance its cycling infrastructure, including connecting residential areas through new cycling routes.
