The dance duo of Tetyana Belydonova and Ivan Kachur, students of the «Kryzhynka» skating school, represented their region proudly at the first stage of the international junior Grand Prix held in Riga (Latvia).
Under the guidance of coach Alona Kalamurza, the athletes delivered an outstanding performance. Judges rated their elements, including twizzles, lifts, and spins, at the 4th level of difficulty. The duo's vibrant presentation and charisma captivated both judges and spectators alike.
In the free dance, Tetyana and Ivan scored 75.48 points, securing 6th place.
Overall, they finished in 8th place with a total score of 126.51 points after two performances.
This was the debut for 14-year-old Tetyana and 18-year-old Ivan at the junior Grand Prix, and it turned out to be a successful start!
On August 27–30, the duo will represent Ukraine at the second leg of the competition in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
