European Shooting Championship in Châteauroux
The European Championship in shooting sports is currently taking place in the French city of Châteauroux. Over 600 competitors from 30 countries are vying for continental medals.
Odesa athlete Mykola Milchev represents the national team of Ukraine. He became an Olympic champion in trap shooting at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, scoring a perfect 150 points (an Olympic record).
Mykola Milchev currently serves as the head coach of Ukraine's national trap shooting team.
At the European Championship in France, this renowned athlete exhibited remarkable shooting precision and longevity in sports, earning a bronze medal in the men's round trap event at the age of 57. In the finals, he scored 46 points, allowing him to secure third place on the podium.
The gold medal was claimed by Ben Llewellyn from Great Britain (56), while the silver went to Italian Tammaro Cassandro (55).
