Ukrainian Judokas Shine at the EYOF 2025

For the second consecutive day, Ukrainian athletes delight us with their medal wins at the EYOF 2025!
Ilariia Tsurkan has claimed the championship title in the girls' category up to 63 kg, defeating Turkey's Rumeisa Kilicay with an ippon in the final match.
Mykhailo Solianyk earned a silver medal in the men's category up to 81 kg, narrowly losing to Lithuania's Taius Babaičenk on a 'Golden Score' in the gold final.
The Ukrainian team has now collected eight medals at the XVIII Summer European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje: 3 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze, ranking eighth in the overall medal standings.
