Ukrainian Athletes Shine at the Muay Thai World Championship

The international Muay Thai tournament has concluded in Turkey, featuring competitions in the Wai Kru and Muan Muay categories.

From Ukraine, Irina Ladynenko made it to the finals - a coach from the Odessa Sports School No. 7.

The athlete from Odessa performed exceptionally well, surpassing all her rivals and securing first place, earning a license to participate in the upcoming European Games.

Irina also won a bronze medal in the S Female Wai Kru category.

Another bronze medal at the World Championship 2025 was clinched by Valery Denisov from Odessa Sports School No. 16 (Wai Kru category, youth). The athlete was trained by Pavel Yevtushenko.

In the overall standings, the Ukrainian national team took second place, winning 6 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
