Odesa University Ranks Among Top Institutions in Ukraine for 2024
Odesa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov has been ranked among the top ten universities in Ukraine according to the Consolidated Ranking of Higher Education Institutions for 2024.
This was reported by the educational information resource «Education.ua»
According to the ranking, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv has maintained its position at the top for eight consecutive years.
It is worth noting that Odesa National University was ranked 8th in the overall ranking for 2023.
The Consolidated Ranking of Ukrainian Universities for 2024 includes results from 235 higher education institutions.
To compile this ranking, data from the most authoritative national ratings, such as «Top-200 Ukraine», «Scopus», and «NMT Contract Score» are utilized, with each having different evaluation criteria.
Previously, Odesa State Environmental University (ODEKU) ranked 15th among all universities in Ukraine based on performance.
In early 2024, it was announced that as part of the university reorganization, the Ministry of Education of Ukraine plans to merge Odesa Environmental University and the Physico-Chemical Institute for Environmental Protection into Odesa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov.
