Safety Celebration for Kids: The Importance of Mine Awareness

On the eve of International Mine Awareness Day, rescuers held an unforgettable safety celebration for children at the «UNICEF Together» center.

There were numerous engaging and beneficial activities awaiting the boys and girls.

They danced lively exercises with psychologists, searched for simulated explosive devices using a mine detector, learned to differentiate between munitions, tried on protective gear of pyrotechnicians, and discovered what to do if they encounter an unknown object.

Additionally, there were patriotic face painting by rescuers, quizzes, riddles, and quests, bright «101» balloons, and simply a wonderful time spent in good company.

It is crucial for our children to know everything about mine safety, as this knowledge preserves health and saves lives!
